This is the car that started it all and is our website logo! This 1977 Corvette's headlight doors did not operate properly when I bought it. After purchasing a factory shop manual and several third party shop manuals, I discovered that there was no troubleshooting or repair procedures available in any of them. So, I figured out how the headlight door and wiper door vacuum systems worked and wrote my own. I contacted the biggest Corvette parts vendors around the country, showed them what I wrote and they have been selling my Troubleshooting the 1968-82 Corvette Headlight/Wiper Door Troubleshooting Guide since 1995! In 1997 I put together my original website (www.vettevacuum.com) and have been selling a few copies there as well.
This is a prime example of the process of determining people's needs and filling them. If you have an idea that would be in demand by the market in general or a niche market like 1968-82 Corvette owners, then fill their need and you will make money!
